Torch-applied bituminous membrane is the proven standard for roofs, podium decks and foundations, especially where the surface area is large and the detailing (upstands, drains, expansion joints) is complex.
Polyurea spray coating cures within seconds, meaning far less site downtime — a strong choice when a roof or tank needs to be back in service quickly.
Polyurea's seamless, highly elastic finish also handles abrasion and minor structural movement better than a sheet membrane, which is why we often specify it for tanks and high-traffic decks.
In practice, many of our projects use both — membrane for the main waterproofing layer, with polyurea detailing at high-wear points.
